Manali

One of the main tourist attraction to Himachal Pradesh, Manali is a name familiar with every travel enthusiasts, especially the adventure seekers. It is comparative further from Delhi as compared to Shimla, however if you take a Shimla to Manali cab, there is just a mere distance of 250 km between the two. From landmark trekking sites like the Rohtang pass and the Solang valley offering a plethora of adrenaline pumping outdoor activities, Manali truly is the whole package for an adventurous trip.

Dalhousie

This hill station was named after Lord Dalhousie, the British Governor-General who discovered this place. The hill station was one of the favorite summer destinations for the British officers and remains one to this day. Kasauli

Another prominent hill station which makes into the mentions in the talks of some of the most beautiful places to visit in India. Kasauli is a small hill station in Himachal where you can witness beautiful apple orchards and fine british architecture. It makes for a relaxing getaway as you can simply lie back and enjoy the scenic view of the whole hill station laid out infront of you.

Shimla

Last but not least, the main one — Shimla. Shimla is hands down the most popular and most sought after tourist destination in Himachal. Anyone from solo travellers, honeymooners to even families can have a blast at this amazing hill station. The hill station offers so much to do and so much to see that anyone venturing to this place has an unbelievable amount of fun.

Given the choices laid out, if you could choose only two destinations, then choosing Manali and Shimla will probably be the best options. You can start off at Manali and try your hand at multiple outdoor activities. Cover the short Shimla and Manali distance by a taxi and make your way to Shimla for a more mellow time. Enjoy the beauty of the landscapes and go for long walks.
